Wellfaring is an independent directory. We list every clinic we can verify exists, and we show what we have checked about each one and when. A listing is not an endorsement or a recommendation. Always confirm details directly with the clinic.
Some clinics carry a Wellfaring badge, which tells you which checks that clinic has passed. Listings without a badge show when their information was last reviewed. They have not been through these checks.

What we check
Badged clinics are checked against the list below. Which checks apply depends on the badge.
Licensing & accreditation
- ✓Valid medical facility licence
- ✓JCI, ISO 9001, NABH, or national equivalent
- ✓No active sanctions or regulatory actions
- ✓Certificates verified with issuing bodies
Practitioner credentials
- ✓Valid medical licences
- ✓Board certification or specialist training
- ✓Professional body membership (ISHRS, ISAPS, ADA)
- ✓Minimum 5 years practice
Facility standards
- ✓Purpose-built medical facility
- ✓Sterilisation and infection control protocols
- ✓Emergency resuscitation equipment
- ✓Hospital transfer agreement for surgery
International patient experience
